Informational Meetings
The first step in enrolling your student in the Monterey County Home Charter School is to attend an informational meeting. They are held weekly throughout the school year and regularly during the summer. During the school year, meetings are held on the West Campus of the MCOE in room #8. The meeting time is from 1:00-2:30PM. Our Elementary and High School Team Leaders will give you an overview of our program as well as be available to answer specific questions you may have. If, at that time, it is apparent that the Monterey County Home Charter School is the right choice for your child, you may fill out a "Request for Participation" form. Families that complete the enrollment process are then assigned a resource teacher and are formally admitted into the MCHCS program. Shortly after enrollment this resource teacher will contact the family to schedule an initial meeting date. |
